What you can do
- Install and use ShelfBee on devices you own or control
- Use it to check book availability at participating libraries
What you can't do
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
- Use the app to scrape or aggregate library availability data at scale
- Redistribute or resell the app or its functionality
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Library relationships
ShelfBee is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with OverDrive, Libby, Amazon, Goodreads, or any public library system. Your relationship with your library — including borrowing, holds, and account access — is governed entirely by your library's own policies.
Availability and accuracy
We make no guarantee that the app will be available at all times or that library availability information will be accurate. Library catalogs update independently and there may be a delay between actual availability and what ShelfBee shows.
Disclaimer of warranties
ShelfBee is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShelfBee and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We'll update the effective date above when we do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
